Comments: Dr Alexis Chiang Colvin, MD is truly the ideal example of a Doctor. Her professionalism, knowledge, Care and her intent to educate - made my experience something to remember and appreciate. I suffered a fall last December while climbing and not knowing at the time but I tore my ACL. As someone who loves to be active and protective of my body, I was pretty nervous about the thought of surgery.
Dr Colvin, empathize, then educated and then provided me with options. It wasn’t the surgery that I was worried about but the after care, the assistance of daily task, and the possibility of depression by not being mobile. Dr Colvin, took me step by step, educating me along the way and made me feel part of the experience.
Now a month, one week and two days after surgery, PT is going great. My knee is a working progress and I’m on track to getting back to a sense of normalcy.
Thank you Dr C + Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
